Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of PicSift, including the PicSift mobile application and related features, services, subscriptions, and purchases (collectively, the “App”).

The App is provided by CloudBase Web Solutions (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

You must be legally able to enter into these Terms. If you are using the App on behalf of another person or organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.

Your use of the App is also subject to Apple’s applicable terms, including the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and any App Store rules that apply to purchases, subscriptions, refunds, and app usage.

2. App License and Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.

You agree not to:

  • copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or sublicense the App;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where permitted by law;
  • use the App for unlawful, abusive, harmful, or unauthorized purposes;
  • interfere with or disrupt the operation, security, or integrity of the App;
  • attempt to bypass any feature limitations, payment requirements, or access controls.

We reserve all rights not expressly granted to you under these Terms.

3. Photo Library Access and Local Processing

PicSift is designed to help you review, organize, and clean up photos and videos in your device’s photo library.

The App may request access to your photo library so that it can display your media, help you review items, apply review decisions, and perform cleanup-related actions.

Photo and video analysis, review status, and cleanup workflows are designed to be processed locally on your device unless clearly stated otherwise. We do not sell your photos or videos.

You are responsible for reviewing your own media and confirming any deletion or cleanup action. When you choose to delete items, those actions may affect your device photo library and may be subject to Apple Photos behavior, including the “Recently Deleted” album or similar system-level recovery options.

You should maintain your own backups of important photos and videos. We are not responsible for loss of media caused by user actions, device issues, Apple Photos behavior, iCloud synchronization, limited storage, system errors, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

4. PicSift Pro

PicSift may offer a paid version called PicSift Pro.

PicSift Pro may unlock additional features, which may include, for example, unlimited or expanded bulk actions, advanced cleanup tools, smart recommendations, enhanced review workflows, and future Pro-only features.

The exact features included in PicSift Pro may vary over time. Some features may depend on device capabilities, iOS version, photo library permissions, App Store availability, or other technical conditions.

Purchasing PicSift Pro does not guarantee that every feature will be available on every device, in every region, or permanently in the same form.

5. Subscriptions and Auto-Renewal

PicSift Pro may be available through auto-renewing subscriptions, such as monthly or yearly plans.

If you purchase a subscription, payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless they are cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.

Your Apple ID account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period, according to Apple’s App Store billing rules.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID account settings. Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.

Subscription pricing and availability may vary by country or region and may be shown in your local currency through the App Store.

6. Lifetime Purchase

PicSift Pro may also be offered as a one-time lifetime purchase.

A lifetime purchase grants access to the paid features included in PicSift Pro for the lifetime of the App, subject to these Terms.

“Lifetime” means the lifetime of the App as we continue to make it available and support it. It does not mean the lifetime of the user, the device, the operating system, or any third-party platform.

A lifetime purchase does not guarantee access to separate future products, separate apps, unrelated services, or features that we clearly identify as separate purchases.

We may modify, improve, replace, or discontinue specific features over time, subject to applicable law and App Store rules.

7. Free Features and Paid Features

The App may include both free features and paid features.

Free features may be subject to limits, such as limits on bulk actions, cleanup actions, smart recommendations, advanced tools, usage volume, or other functionality.

Paid features may require an active PicSift Pro subscription or a lifetime purchase.

We may change which features are free or paid, add new paid features, modify existing features, or adjust usage limits. Where required by applicable law or App Store rules, changes will not affect rights you have already purchased for the current billing period.

8. Family Sharing, if enabled

PicSift Pro purchases or subscriptions may support Apple Family Sharing if we enable Family Sharing for the applicable product in App Store Connect and if Apple makes that functionality available.

Family Sharing availability may vary by purchase type, country or region, Apple ID settings, family group configuration, and Apple’s own rules.

If Family Sharing is enabled, eligible family members may be able to access the shared purchase through Apple’s systems. We do not control Apple Family Sharing settings, eligibility, or account-level sharing behavior.

9. Restore Purchases

If you have previously purchased PicSift Pro, you may be able to restore your purchase using the restore purchase option in the App.

Restore functionality depends on Apple’s App Store systems and the Apple ID used for the original purchase.

If a purchase does not restore correctly, you may need to confirm that you are signed in with the correct Apple ID, that the purchase is still valid, and that your device has access to the App Store.

10. Refunds and Cancellation

All purchases, subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Apple through the App Store.

We do not directly process App Store payments and generally cannot issue refunds ourselves.

To cancel a subscription, you must manage the subscription through your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation will take effect according to Apple’s App Store rules, usually at the end of the current billing period.

To request a refund, you must contact Apple or use Apple’s refund request process. Apple determines refund eligibility according to its own policies and applicable law.

Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription and does not automatically create a refund request.

11. Changes to Features or Pricing

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the App, including free features, paid features, Pro features, design, workflows, limits, or technical functionality.

We may also change pricing for future purchases or subscription periods. Pricing changes for subscriptions are handled through Apple’s App Store systems and may require notice or consent where required by Apple or applicable law.

We will try to avoid changes that materially reduce the value of an active paid entitlement during its current billing period, but we may make changes where needed for technical, legal, security, operational, App Store, or platform-related reasons.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.

We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with every device, or able to meet every user’s expectations.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of photos, videos, data, revenue, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities.

You are responsible for reviewing media before deleting it and for maintaining backups of important content.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer protection law.
