Frequently asked questions
Open iPhone Settings, find PicSift, tap Photos, and choose Full Access or Limited Access. PicSift needs access to the photos and videos you want to review. You can change this permission at any time.
No. PicSift is designed to process photos and videos locally on your device. It does not upload your photo library to PicSift servers for processing, use your media to train machine learning models, or share it with advertisers.
PicSift asks you to review and confirm cleanup actions. Deleted items are handled by Apple's Photos system and normally move to the Recently Deleted album, where Apple keeps them temporarily before permanent deletion. Check that album promptly if you deleted something by mistake.
Yes. PicSift works with the photo library available on your iPhone. If iCloud Photos is enabled, Apple manages syncing and downloading according to your iCloud and device settings. Some items may need to download before they can be fully reviewed.
The original may be stored in iCloud and not yet downloaded, your connection may be limited, or iPhone storage may be low. Open the item in Apple Photos, confirm it can load there, then return to PicSift and try again.
Use the Restore Purchases option in PicSift while signed in to the same Apple Account used for the original purchase. Apple validates purchases, so an internet connection may be required.
Open iPhone Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, and select PicSift. Deleting the app does not cancel an active subscription. Apple controls subscription billing and cancellation.
App Store purchases and refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with the Apple Account used for the purchase, and follow Apple's refund request process.
