Frequently asked questions

PicSift help and answers.

How do I give PicSift access to my photo library?

Open iPhone Settings, find PicSift, tap Photos, and choose Full Access or Limited Access. PicSift needs access to the photos and videos you want to review. You can change this permission at any time.

Does PicSift upload my photos or videos?

No. PicSift processes photos and videos locally on your device. It does not upload your library to PicSift servers, use your media to train machine-learning models, or share it with advertisers.

What happens when I delete a photo or video?

PicSift asks you to review and confirm cleanup. Apple Photos normally moves deleted items to Recently Deleted, where they remain temporarily before permanent deletion.

Does PicSift work with iCloud Photos?

Yes. PicSift works with the library available on your iPhone. Apple manages iCloud syncing and downloads according to your settings.

Why is a photo or video unavailable or slow to load?

The original may still be in iCloud, the connection may be limited, or storage may be low. Open the item in Apple Photos, confirm it loads, then try PicSift again.

How do I restore my PicSift Pro purchase?

Use Restore Purchases in PicSift while signed in to the Apple Account used for the original purchase. An internet connection may be required.

How do I manage or cancel a subscription?

Open iPhone Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, and select PicSift. Deleting the app does not cancel an active subscription.

How do I request a refund?

App Store purchases and refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and follow Apple’s refund process.
